International Road Asset Management Specialist (Team Leader)

About the role

The International Road Asset Management Specialist (Team Leader) will lead the coordination of all tasks related to road asset management, prepare deliverables, and present findings to the FRA. This senior position involves data analysis, development of maintenance and renewal programs, and strategic planning for road networks.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all activities under the assignment, ensuring timely delivery of reports and presentations to FRA.
• Conduct data analysis and develop the Asset Maintenance and Renewal Program.
• Prepare annual and multi‑annual work plans using HDM4 and perform network‑level strategy analysis.
• Utilise AWM/RAMM Asset Manager module where available, or ensure team expertise in the tool.
• Lead a team of specialists, providing guidance on technical and methodological issues.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in civil engineering, transport economics or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in road asset management and maintenance planning, preferably in small island developing states.
• Fluent English with strong report‑writing skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HDM4 software.
• Experience using AWM/RAMM Asset Manager module.
