Resident Consultant – Water & Waste Infrastructure

About the role

The Resident Consultant will supervise on‑site implementation of water supply, sanitation, sludge treatment and solid‑waste management infrastructure. You will ensure that works follow design drawings, contract specifications and quality standards while keeping the project on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site supervision of water supply, sanitation, sludge treatment, solid‑waste composting and sorting works in the assigned Paurashavas.
• Interpret and verify compliance with structural and technical drawings provided by consultants and specialists.
• Ensure all materials meet contract specifications and that workmanship conforms to technical requirements.
• Maintain total quality control throughout construction activities.
• Monitor contractor performance against the agreed time schedule and coordinate with consultants and local stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience supervising urban water supply and waste‑management construction projects.
• Proven ability to control construction activities and ensure technical compliance.
