Executive Housekeeper – Luxury Resort

About the role

Four Seasons is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping and Laundry operations at its exclusive resort on Desroches Island. The role combines operational leadership, budget management and guest‑service excellence in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the highest levels of efficiency, productivity and operational excellence across Housekeeping and Laundry departments.
• Prepare and submit the annual operating budget, CAPEX budget and departmental requisitions for linens, uniforms, equipment and consumables.
• Develop, implement and maintain written policies, procedures and SOPs for all housekeeping areas.
• Take appropriate personnel actions in line with company policies, budgets and salary guidelines.
• Foster communication and coordination with department heads to ensure seamless resort operations.
• Conduct regular departmental meetings to convey objectives, updates and performance expectations.
• Continuously improve guest‑service standards and identify opportunities to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Implement and monitor cost‑control initiatives, operational systems and departmental procedures to maximize efficiency.
• Prepare and submit accurate operational and management reports on schedule.
• Ensure strict adherence to approved operating and capital budgets.
• Deliver housekeeping, laundry and valet services that meet Four Seasons luxury standards and brand guidelines.
• Lead, coach and develop departmental staff to achieve peak performance and professional growth.
• Monitor and control departmental costs.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing housekeeping and laundry operations in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong background in budgeting, financial reporting and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team‑development skills.
• Ability to develop and enforce policies, procedures and SOPs.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
