About the role

Join Four Seasons on the secluded Desroches Island and provide a safe, welcoming water environment for guests enjoying the pristine beaches and crystal‑clear ocean. As a Lifeguard you will be the first line of safety, ensuring every guest feels confident and cared for while swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing by the pool.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor beach and pool areas continuously to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies.
• Enforce safety rules and provide clear guidance to guests on water activities.
• Perform rescues, administer first aid or CPR, and coordinate with medical staff when needed.
• Maintain lifeguard equipment, conduct regular safety checks, and keep the area clean.
• Assist guests with equipment rentals, answer questions about local marine conditions, and promote a positive guest experience.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to guest safety and excellent customer service.
• Ability to work outdoors in a tropical environment and handle varying weather conditions.
• Physical fitness and the stamina to perform rescues and stand for long periods.
• Professional demeanor and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Current lifeguard certification and valid first‑aid/CPR qualification.
• Proficiency in water‑safety techniques and rescue procedures.
