Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Constance Ephelia, a luxury resort on Mahé Island, Seychelles, is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor. You will lead a dedicated housekeeping team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across all resort areas.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Supervise, train, and mentor housekeeping staff, providing constructive feedback and supporting career development.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate daily tasks to ensure efficient coverage and optimal resource utilisation.
• Conduct regular quality inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders and monitoring stock levels.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and hygiene protocols in line with resort policies and local regulations.
• Collaborate with front office, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain detailed records of staff performance, cleaning schedules, maintenance issues, and incident reports.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and represent the department at management meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience in a hospitality environment.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Housekeeping management certification or professional hospitality qualification.
• Strong people‑management skills and ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluent English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
