Coastal Engineer – Civil & Environmental Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Coastal Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team and support the planning and design of civil engineering projects such as land reclamation, port construction and other coastal structures. The role involves both design and site‑work supervision for local and overseas assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and designing civil works for land reclamation, ports, jetties, revetments and related structures.
• Prepare site investigation plans, interpret results and produce civil, structural, environmental and geotechnical designs.
• Manage sub‑contracts for soil investigation, biodiversity assessments and other specialist services.
• Supervise design and on‑site activities to ensure compliance with statutory standards, regulations and codes of practice.
• Support tender preparation and project pursuit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering recognised by the relevant regulatory bodies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team player able to multitask, disciplined, self‑motivated and resourceful.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience using engineering software such as StaadPro and Prokon (advantageous).
