Electrical Engineering Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Supervisor to lead the engineering team at our luxury resort in Seychelles. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will oversee the maintenance and operation of all electrical and mechanical systems across the hotel and its facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily engineering operations and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programmes for electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Manage inventory, order parts, and verify specifications before procurement.
• Control and monitor tools, equipment and materials to guarantee safe and efficient work.
• Maintain service records, logbooks and cleanliness of workspaces.
• Train and develop engineering staff, fostering continuous improvement.
• Identify and recommend process improvements, new techniques and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Participate in all safety and security meetings and ensure a hazard‑free environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising engineering or maintenance teams in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to manage stock levels, order parts and verify technical specifications.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness and high‑quality workmanship.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
