Energy Transition Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical professional to lead advisory work in industrial development, energy transition, and renewables strategy. The role involves analysing macro‑economic and geopolitical trends, shaping strategic recommendations, and supporting policy and investment promotion initiatives across key industry sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse macro‑economic, geopolitical and business trends impacting industrial development, energy transition and renewable energy sectors.
• Conduct value‑chain analysis for priority industry clusters such as petrochemical, semiconductor, biomedical, logistics and marine sectors.
• Provide advisory services on industrial development roadmaps, cluster strategy, energy transition and renewables strategy, park management, investment promotion and policy formulation.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations and policy papers and present findings to senior stakeholders, including travel for client engagements.
• Mentor junior team members, review analytical outputs and contribute to team capability building.
• Support business development initiatives and other strategic projects as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, Business, Urban Planning or related discipline (post‑graduate preferred for senior roles).
• Strong research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated interest in industrial development, economic development and energy transition.
• Experience in industrial or economic development projects; prior work with agencies such as JTC, EDB or ESG is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Good people‑management and interpersonal skills; self‑motivated and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.
