About the role

The Manager – Roads & Highways, South East Asia provides leadership, operational direction and technical oversight for the Roads & Highways sub‑sector across the region. Reporting to senior infrastructure leadership, the role supports the national strategy, ensures service excellence and drives strong client engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational, technical and business development activities for the Roads & Highways sub‑sector in South East Asia.
• Develop and implement operating plans aligned with corporate strategic goals.
• Ensure high‑quality project delivery, governance and adherence to technical standards.
• Guide staff performance, clarify structures, expectations and communication.
• Manage budget, utilisation and financial performance, including monthly reporting and commercial governance.
• Oversee invoicing, risk management and compliance with financial controls.
• Partner with People & Culture and leadership to plan workforce capability, resource deployment and succession planning.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across South East Asia and the Pacific, leading business development and pipeline management.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience in infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
• Ability to resolve complex project and technical issues effectively.
• Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
• Experience in workforce planning, resource mobilisation and talent development.
