Non-Executive Director

About the role

Admirals is seeking a Non-Executive Director to provide independent oversight and constructive challenge to the Board and senior management. This senior governance role supports effective decision‑making, regulatory compliance and risk management within the company’s financial ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and actively participate in Board meetings.
• Provide independent judgement on strategy, governance, business model and risk appetite.
• Review and challenge management, compliance, AML/CFT, audit and risk assessment reports.
• Support compliance with Seychelles financial services legislation, AML/CFT requirements, FSA codes and licence conditions.
• Oversee key risk areas such as client onboarding, classification, complaints handling, outsourcing, conflicts of interest, safeguarding of client assets and business conduct.
• Monitor the Company’s approved securities dealing activities, including stocks, ETFs and contracts for difference.
• Ensure Board decisions are properly documented, considered and followed up.
• Disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest and act independently in the Company’s best interests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior governance, board or senior advisory roles within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of Seychelles financial services legislation, AML/CFT regulations and related compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and challenge strategic, risk and regulatory matters objectively.
• High integrity, independence and the capacity to act in the best interests of the Company.
