Senior Electrical Technician

About the role

Raffles Seychelles is seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance and repair of the resort’s physical plant, utility services and equipment. You will work on both the hotel facilities and staff housing complex, applying your technical expertise to keep all systems running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with engineering management and team leaders on improvement opportunities and efficiency gains.
• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance for air‑conditioning, electrical, refrigeration, fire‑life‑safety (FLS) equipment, low‑voltage (LV) systems, plumbing, drainage, kitchen and laundry equipment, and building fixtures.
• Coordinate any service disruptions and keep the engineering team informed.
• Attend daily engineering briefings and contribute to consumption reporting for power, water, steam and gas.
• Apply safe work practices, preventive maintenance procedures and mentor junior technicians.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Trade Certificate in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in electrical or related trades.
• Proactive, independent worker with strong interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem‑solver who collaborates effectively with all associates.
