Assistant Reservations Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Assistant Reservations Manager supports the Reservations & Revenue Manager at Cheval Blanc Seychelles, a luxury resort on Anse Intendance. You will help shape sales strategies, maintain accurate reservation data, and ensure optimal occupancy and revenue performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing annual and monthly sales action plans, promotional activities, and rate structures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date information in the property management system (PMS) and monitor reservation operations according to SOPs.
• Support the preparation of the Annual Rooms Budget and develop pricing strategies across market segments and distribution channels.
• Ensure compliance with Best Rate guarantees, rate parity, and Cheval Blanc standards for rate plans and categories.
• Produce weekly and monthly forecasts, manage inventory, and generate revenue‑management budget components.
• Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests while promoting positive public relations.
• Monitor competitor activity (occupancy, rates, marketing) and ensure departmental procedures are followed.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to produce accurate forecasts.
• Excellent communication skills for handling guest interactions and internal coordination.
• Detail‑oriented approach to maintain data integrity in the PMS.
• Proactive attitude toward maximizing occupancy and average daily rate.
