Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Annotator to support the development and evaluation of artificial intelligence models. In this role you will review, annotate, and validate backend‑focused datasets, code samples, and system‑design outputs, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows.
• Label datasets that involve authentication mechanisms, microservices, and event‑driven designs.
• Validate scalability, performance, reliability, and security of server‑side implementations.
• Provide structured feedback and engineering reasoning for each annotation.
• Review database queries, authentication systems, and containerized deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and session management.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event‑driven design.
• Familiarity with backend security principles and secure coding standards.
