Guest Relations Officer – Chinese Speaker

About the role

Constance Ephelia, a luxury resort on Mahé, Seychelles, is looking for a Guest Relations Officer who speaks Mandarin Chinese. You will act as the primary point of contact for Chinese‑speaking guests, ensuring their stay is smooth, enjoyable, and culturally attuned.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome Chinese‑speaking guests, provide information on resort facilities, services and local attractions.
• Serve as the liaison between guests and resort departments, facilitating seamless communication.
• Respond promptly to enquiries, requests and concerns in Mandarin and English.
• Assist with dining reservations, activity bookings and personalised experiences.
• Offer cultural guidance and local insights to enhance guest appreciation of Seychelles.
• Handle complaints professionally, implementing solutions to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
• Maintain detailed records of guest preferences for repeat visits.
• Collaborate with front desk, concierge, housekeeping and other teams.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (simplified or traditional) and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in guest relations, customer service or hospitality, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and the ability to manage challenging situations.
• Good judgement and problem‑solving abilities focused on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of Seychelles tourism, attractions and local culture.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hospitality management systems, booking platforms and general IT applications.
