Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to take full responsibility for the efficient operation of the housekeeping department. The role covers training, supervision and inspection of housekeeping staff, coordination with other departments and adherence to the hotel's service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and assist in the training and orientation of new hosts and regular training of housekeeping staff to improve performance and meet service standards.
• Demonstrate to hosts how to perform each task according to the job description and hotel service standards.
• Maintain regular communication with other departments to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
• Monitor daily arrivals against the occupancy report in coordination with the Laundry and Housekeeping management.
• Supervise and inspect the work of housekeeping hosts to ensure high standards of order, hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness and aesthetics, assisting when necessary.
• Keep the housekeeping office and storage facilities in good condition and order.
• Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards, maintain performance benchmarks and strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years' experience in a similar hotel operational setting.
• Hospitality diploma or degree from a recognised hospitality school is preferred.
• Fluent English; additional languages are preferred.
• Prior professional experience in Seychelles is preferred, with a strong understanding of the local operating environment.

Required skills

• MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as POS, PMS and CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of hotel and resort policies, including room allocation.
