Junior Accountant

About the role

CMTrading is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Accountant to join its Finance Department. The role will focus on the accounting and financial reporting for two entities within the group, with the flexibility to support additional companies as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist with payments processing, cash‑flow management, and budgeting activities.

Required profile

• Seychellois nationality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a group structure or online trading environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
• Experience with SAP accounting software (a plus).
