Mathematics Tutor (Casual)

About the role

Bright and Bloom Tutoring is looking for a friendly and knowledgeable Mathematics Tutor to join our team on a casual basis. You will work with primary‑level students, helping them build confidence and master core mathematical concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver one‑on‑one or small‑group tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s needs.
• Explain mathematical ideas clearly, using patient and engaging methods.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead tutor.
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles.
• Maintain a professional and encouraging attitude at all times.

Required profile

• Strong academic performance in Mathematics at IGCSE level or equivalent.
• Open to post‑secondary students, university students, graduates, or working professionals with a solid maths background.
• Previous tutoring, mentoring, teaching, or childcare experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, patience, and a passion for working with children.
• Flexible availability after school hours or weekends.

Required skills

• Ability to explain mathematical concepts in a simple, clear, and engaging manner.
