Quantity Surveyor – Land Reclamation Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Coastal Engineering and Management team, focusing on land reclamation development projects. The role involves supporting the QS/Estimating team and ensuring accurate cost assessments throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support the in‑house QS/Estimating staff in planning, overseeing and delivering all estimating outputs.
• Study civil, structural, architectural, MEP and other engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities that capture every component required for construction.
• Develop independent cost estimates (preliminary and detailed) to the required level of accuracy.
• Liaise with design leads to verify designs and produce quantity take‑offs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to compile material and construction costs.
• Conduct cost comparisons for alternative design schemes and recommend cost‑effective options.
• Maintain a database of material suppliers for estimating purposes.
• Prepare Detailed Unit Price Analyses (DUPA) based on DPWH/DOTr standard unit pricing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation.
