Resident Engineer – Bridge Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to lead on‑site supervision of the 1.5 km Nalua Baherchar Steel Arch Bridge project. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality and safety standards, and delivering the bridge on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader in preparing project reports, schedules and progress reviews.
• Approve contractor work programmes, method statements, materials and drawings; issue site instructions.
• Establish and monitor Quality Assurance systems; conduct inspections to verify compliance with contracts and standards.
• Review and approve safety and traffic plans; certify work volumes, payments and contractor performance.
• Inspect during defects liability period, certify completion, verify as‑built drawings and maintain complete project records for the employer.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in construction.
• At least 10 years of construction supervision on ICB contracts.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Resident Engineer on bridge or highway projects under ICB contracts.
