Sight and Sound Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Sight and Sound Supervisor to provide live event audio‑visual support for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves managing all aspects of sound and lighting to deliver high‑quality event experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Operate live sound mixing consoles and ensure optimal audio quality during events.
• Set up, configure, and position lighting and sound equipment to achieve desired visual and acoustic effects.
• Maintain, repair, and calibrate sight and sound systems, performing routine inspections to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with event coordinators and clients to meet specific AV requirements.
• Train junior technicians on AV operational techniques and best practices.
• Conduct quality assurance checks before, during, and after events, making real‑time adjustments as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in live sound mixing and AV system operation.
• Proven ability to maintain and troubleshoot sight and sound equipment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and physical capability to lift AV gear.
