About the role

Constance Ephelia is looking for an enthusiastic Trainee F&B Attendant to join its luxury resort team in Mahé, Seychelles. This six‑month apprenticeship provides comprehensive on‑the‑job training and a solid foundation for a career in hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous, professional manner.
• Maintain immaculate table settings, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
• Take guest orders accurately and process payments using point‑of‑sale systems.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and special requirements.
• Follow health, safety, and food‑hygiene protocols at all times.
• Support team members during service to ensure smooth operations.
• Learn and apply the resort’s service standards and operational procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance in line with uniform requirements.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas as directed.
• Report any issues or concerns to supervisory staff immediately.

Required profile

• Excellent customer‑service attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Age 16 years or older.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely.
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional work ethic.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to feedback and follow procedures.
• Basic knowledge of food‑and‑beverage service standards and food‑hygiene practices.
