Air Condition Technician

About the role

The Air Condition Technician will operate, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning (HVAC) equipment throughout the hotel. This includes servicing a central heating plant, steam or hot‑water systems, and ensuring a comfortable environment for guests and staff. The role requires strong customer service to create a pleasant atmosphere in the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Service, repair, and replace gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, electric furnaces, packaged terminal units, ductless split systems and related HVACR equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, test systems after repair and ensure proper operation.
• Install and replace components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, air filters, switches, gauges and copper lines.
• Conduct leak detection, refrigerant charging, vacuum pump operations and system testing in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area, manage tools and stock levels, and follow all safety policies.

Required profile

• Proficient knowledge of HVACR systems and related health‑and‑safety practices.
• Ability to work independently, with good interpersonal skills and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Willingness to cooperate with other departments and follow company‑approved apparel and procedures.
• Commitment to confidentiality regarding hotel operations, guests and assets.
