Assistant Guest Relations Manager

About the role

Constance Lemuria, a luxury resort on Praslin Island, is looking for an Assistant Guest Relations Manager to support the Guest Relations Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will act as a key point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Guest Relations Manager in daily department operations.
• Welcome and greet guests, creating a warm first impression.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues.
• Manage guest feedback and implement improvements.
• Support training and mentoring of guest relations staff.
• Organise special events, activities, and personalised experiences.
• Maintain accurate guest records and preferences in the hotel management system.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Assist with VIP guest arrivals and stays.
• Contribute to the development of guest relations strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in guest relations or hospitality management, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional demeanor and calmness under pressure.
