About the role
The Customer Experience Executive will deliver accurate banking services and world‑class customer service to walk‑in retail clients. Working in a branch environment, you will handle cash, cheques, travellers’ cheques and other financial instruments while ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense and receive cash, cheques, travellers’ cheques and drafts over the counter.
- Verify transaction details (date, ID, amount, funds availability) before processing.
- Refer transactions exceeding teller limits or any concerns to the Team Leader or Branch Coordinator.
- Capture all transactions in the bank’s system and obtain proper authorisation.
- Count cash accurately, manage till balances, and perform cash evacuation and replenishment.
- Perform end‑to‑end banking hall duties such as mailing, cheque‑book and statement processing.
- Identify and refer customers to specialist sales or advisory areas when needed.
- Own and resolve customer queries and complaints promptly.
Required profile
- Ability to follow detailed SOPs and banking procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with zero tolerance for teller errors.
- Comfortable handling physical cash and financial instruments.
- Excellent customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving mindset.
