About the role

The iconic Four Seasons Resort Seychelles is seeking a passionate and detail‑oriented Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery to champion personalised guest experiences and support the resort’s commitment to exceptional luxury service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef with daily pastry production, preparing pastries, desserts, cakes, viennoiserie, breads and chocolate products to hotel standards.
• Support breakfast buffet, all‑day dining, banquets, amenities and special events, ensuring timely mise en place.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, cleanliness and organization, following FIFO procedures for storage and labeling.
• Minimise waste, control ingredients and equipment, and contribute to new product development and seasonal menu preparations.
• Guide and support junior team members as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in a luxury five‑star hotel environment with strong knowledge of pastry and bakery standards.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and committed to accuracy and excellence.
• Effective communicator who works well within a multicultural team.
