Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery

About the role

The Four Seasons Resort Seychelles is seeking a passionate Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery to support the Executive Pastry Chef in delivering high‑quality pastry and bakery products for guests in a luxury five‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef with daily pastry production and service.
• Prepare and present pastries, desserts, cakes, viennoiserie, breads, and chocolate products according to hotel standards.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation, taste, and portion control.
• Support breakfast buffet, all‑day dining, banquets, amenities, and special events.
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, cleanliness and proper storage using FIFO procedures.
• Assist with new product development and seasonal menu preparations.

Required profile

• Experience in a luxury five‑star hotel environment with strong knowledge of pastry and bakery standards.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and committed to accuracy and excellence.
• Effective communicator who works well within a multicultural team.
