Engineering Geology Expert

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Geology Expert to lead complex geological investigations for our infrastructure projects. The role involves applying advanced geological and geotechnical knowledge to support design, risk assessment and construction across diverse terrains.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive geological and geotechnical investigations, including field mapping, sampling and laboratory testing.
• Develop and interpret rock mass rating (RMR) classifications for project design.
• Provide technical input on soil and rock mechanics for foundation and slope stability analyses.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with international partners on projects spanning at least two continents.
• Deliver detailed reports and recommendations, particularly for projects in Himalayan regions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Geology or Engineering Geology.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years focused on Himalayan geology.
• Proven international project experience across multiple continents.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
