Engineering Lead - Options

About the role

Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering / Engineering Lead to own and evolve its systematic options trading platform. You will guide a team of around seven engineers, ensuring the platform remains fast, reliable, and competitive in a fast‑moving digital‑asset market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Options Engineering team, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Own the Rust‑native systematic options trading platform, driving enhancements in quoting, execution, pricing, and risk controls.
• Partner with trading, quant, product, risk, and infrastructure stakeholders to align engineering output with business goals.
• Ensure high performance, low latency, and production reliability across the trading stack.
• Balance people leadership with delivery ownership and operational discipline.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in systematic trading, options market‑making, or low‑latency trading systems.
• Hands‑on experience building or maintaining high‑performance trading platforms.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers.
• Comfort working in European or US East‑Coast time zones.
