Executive Housekeeper

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead and manage all housekeeping and laundry operations at Constance Ephelia, a luxury resort in Seychelles. The role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest satisfaction while developing a multicultural team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, setting cleaning protocols and service standards.
• Oversee daily operations, conduct inspections and quality checks to maintain compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory, supplies and equipment, ensuring cost‑effective procurement and stock control.
• Develop customised cleaning schedules and procedures tailored to the resort’s needs.
• Coordinate with front office, maintenance and guest services for seamless operations.
• Address guest concerns promptly and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor departmental budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain records of staff performance, training and departmental activities.

Required profile

• Previous senior housekeeping leadership role in a luxury or five‑star hotel.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills with experience managing a large, multicultural team.
• In‑depth knowledge of luxury housekeeping operations, cleaning protocols and health‑safety regulations.
• Hands‑on leadership style with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with international luxury hotel brands and island resorts is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in property management systems and housekeeping software.
• Multilingual capabilities (desirable).
