Executive Housekeeper – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Executive Housekeeper to join our esteemed team at Constance Ephelia, Seychelles. The role leads and manages all housekeeping and laundry operations for our luxury resort, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and supervise the housekeeping and laundry team, providing guidance on cleaning protocols, hygiene standards and guest service excellence.
• Oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations, conduct regular inspections and quality‑assurance checks to maintain compliance with cleaning and safety standards.
• Manage inventory, supplies and equipment, ensuring cost‑effective procurement and stock control.
• Develop and implement customised cleaning schedules and procedures tailored to the resort’s requirements.
• Coordinate with front office, maintenance and guest services to ensure seamless operations and promptly address guest concerns.
• Monitor departmental budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities and maintain accurate records of staff performance and training.

Required profile

• Previous senior housekeeping leadership experience in a luxury or five‑star hotel, preferably as Director of Housekeeping or Executive Housekeeper.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a multicultural team.
• Comprehensive knowledge of luxury housekeeping operations, cleaning protocols, hygiene standards and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Hands‑on leadership style with exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving capabilities and professional handling of challenging situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in property management systems (PMS).
• Experience with housekeeping software.
