Guest Service Agent - Mandarin

About the role

The Guest Service Agent – Mandarin will be the first point of contact for guests at Raffles Seychelles, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience. This role combines front‑office duties with personalized service for Mandarin‑speaking guests.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival, manage check‑in, and provide a comprehensive resort introduction.
• Coordinate special requests with Concierge, Butler, Housekeeping and other departments.
• Handle guest complaints, follow up on corrective actions, and maintain detailed guest profiles.
• Promote inter‑hotel sales, seasonal packages, loyalty programmes and onward bookings at other Raffles properties.
• Prepare pre‑arrival communications, VIP amenities, and ensure rooms are inspected before guest arrival.
• Maintain department standards of appearance, behaviour and communication.
• Participate in briefings, training sessions and special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably another language.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Front Office or Guest Relations, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Ability to work calmly and courteously under pressure, focusing on resident needs.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the capacity to build rapport with colleagues and management.
• Comfortable operating in a multicultural environment.
