About the role

The Head Butler leads the Butler team at Raffles Seychelles, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, personalized service that reflects the brand’s luxury standards. This senior position combines managerial responsibilities with hands‑on guest interaction to exceed expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach and schedule the Butler team to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with all SOPs, brand standards, LQA, Forbes and other quality benchmarks.
• Oversee daily operations, including task delegation through the Opera PMS and related online platforms.
• Drive performance against KPIs, audits and revenue targets, preparing regular reports and forecasts.
• Handle guest issues promptly, coordinating recovery actions and maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Plan recruitment, budgeting and up‑selling of hotel products and facilities.
• Conduct monthly departmental meetings to review procedures and performance.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of Butler Service SOPs and local regulations.
• Strong leadership with the ability to foster open communication and trust.
• Commitment to Raffles values of excellence, respect, integrity and caring.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to deliver the “Top 5 Service Excellence” interactions.
