Income Auditor

About the role

The Income Auditor (Accounting Officer) will ensure that all daily revenues received by the hotel are accurately recorded and reported. Working within the Finance department, the role supports compliance with operational procedures and provides detailed analysis for audit and tax purposes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit the Daily Flash Report on time.
• Complete the Daily Operations Package and Daily Income Journal Package promptly.
• Verify revenue, review negative postings, rate variances, and F&B void and discount reports.
• Approve miscellaneous, allowance, and paid‑out vouchers with proper explanations.
• Reconcile F&B room charges against Front Office transaction totals.
• Reconcile monthly Service Charge and VAT postings.
• Check and follow up on PM Account authorizations.
• Investigate all open F&B checks and report findings to the F&B Manager.
• Conduct surprise open‑check inspections each month.
• Ensure proper accounting of Raffles Checks, banquet checks, gift certificates, and upselling incentives.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Fluent oral and written English.
• Physically fit with a neat appearance.
