Outlet Manager

About the role

The Outlet Manager is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant at Raffles Seychelles. This includes managing staff performance, controlling costs, ensuring food and beverage quality, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise assistant restaurant managers or supervisors.
• Monitor and act on guest feedback, handling complaints and service recovery.
• Inspect food and beverage quality regularly and ensure hygiene standards.
• Prepare and manage the restaurant budget, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Schedule staff, prepare payroll reports, and conduct monthly performance meetings.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and control stock levels.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and engineering for cleanliness and safety.
• Promote the hotel’s food and beverage outlets to guests.

Required profile

• Well‑presented, professionally groomed and physically fit.
• Strong interpersonal communication with an outgoing personality.
• Leadership qualities, self‑motivated and a team player.
• Hotel Restaurant Management graduate.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in an international chain hotel’s pub/bar environment at a managerial level.
• Organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Publisher and PowerPoint.
• Experience with the Micros point‑of‑sale system.
