Principal Hydropower & Dam Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Hydropower & Dam Engineer to lead the design and delivery of large‑scale hydro and pumped‑storage projects. The role involves overseeing studies from prefeasibility through detailed engineering, ensuring technical excellence and seamless integration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct prefeasibility studies and detailed design for conventional large hydro and pumped‑storage schemes.
• Select, design, and optimise various types of dams.
• Coordinate with geology, geotechnical, hydrology, structural, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation.
• Present design concepts and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in hydropower and dam engineering across project life‑cycles.
• Strong understanding of interdisciplinary interfaces and project integration.
• Excellent technical writing and client presentation abilities.
