Spa & Wellness Director – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Spa & Wellness Director is responsible for curating and delivering an exceptional wellness journey at Raffles Seychelles, integrating spa, fitness, kids club and overall well‑being offerings for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a holistic wellness strategy aligned with Raffles ultra‑luxury positioning.
• Lead business planning, annual budgeting, and capex development for the Spa & Wellness division.
• Oversee all spa operations including treatments, wellness therapies, fitness, relaxation areas, guest journey and retail.
• Ensure operational excellence through walkthroughs, LQA audits, safety and hygiene protocols, and preventive maintenance.
• Design unique wellness experiences reflecting local culture and Raffles Emotional Wellbeing pillars.
• Recruit, train and mentor a professional wellness team, fostering a culture of care and excellence.
• Manage spa P&L, forecasting, budgeting and achieve targeted revenues and GOP.
• Drive annual wellness marketing calendar, events, retreats and partnerships, ensuring brand alignment.
• Promote sustainability by using sustainable products, eliminating single‑use plastics and optimizing energy and water consumption.

Required profile

• Understanding of ultra‑luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
• Experience in project coordination and preferably in a remote island location.
• Proactive, anticipatory approach with strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with luxury standards.
