Store Clerk

About the role

The Store Clerk supports the Finance Department of Raffles Seychelles by managing the receipt, storage and issuance of hotel supplies. Working in the hotel’s storeroom, you will ensure that all goods are accurately recorded, safely stored and readily available for the various hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, label and verify all incoming goods according to established procedures.
• Store items in a safe, sanitary and organized manner, maintaining correct par levels.
• Enter issued goods into the inventory system and issue items against authorized requisition forms.
• Conduct regular inventories and report discrepancies or slow‑moving stock to the Store Supervisor.
• Ensure storerooms are locked, supervised, clean and compliant with Raffles Seychelles policies.
• Assist with after‑hours issue recording and support Cost Control, Receiving and Purchasing functions as needed.
• Communicate any discrepancies or potential problems promptly to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum “O” level or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in store, inventory or related logistics roles.
• Physically fit, neat appearance and pleasant personality.
• Fluent oral and written English.
• Team‑player with initiative and customer‑oriented attitude.
