Structural Design Engineer (Land Reclamation Projects)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to lead design activities on land‑reclamation and infrastructure projects. The role involves delivering high‑quality structural solutions for commercial, public, industrial and railway facilities while ensuring compliance with client requirements and codes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all structural design activities for the project, including quality control and design checks.
• Provide structural engineering services for commercial, public, industrial buildings, railway stations, retaining walls and foundations.
• Conduct limited field work, perform analysis, design, and prepare detailed reports.
• Liaise independently with clients and stakeholders to capture and address requirements.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil and rail teams to ensure code‑compliant, fit‑for‑purpose structures.
• Interface with railway system designers to guarantee compatibility with railway specifications.
• Review and verify CADD and drafting outputs related to structural design.
• Certify all structural designs and drawings under seal.
• Assist in preparing specifications and Bills of Quantities as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Professional registration as a structural engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural design.

Required skills
