Yoga & Fitness Instructor

About the role

The Yoga & Fitness Instructor delivers inspiring, safe and personalized wellness experiences for guests and members, combining professional yoga instruction with fitness training in line with the resort’s luxury wellness philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct group and private yoga sessions (e.g., Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Stretching, Meditation), including sound healing, Ashtanga, breathwork, and tailor classes to guest abilities and goals.
• Lead fitness sessions such as stretching, core training, functional training, HIIT and mobility classes, designing diverse workout routines to meet client objectives.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of yoga studios, gym areas and changing rooms; set up daily operations and supplies according to Raffles Spa standards.
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests, serving water and towels, explaining procedures, handling inquiries and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitor equipment condition, enforce health and safety procedures, and administer first aid or refer injuries as needed.

Required profile

• Certified Yoga Instructor (minimum 200‑hour certification) with 1–2 years experience in a hotel, resort or wellness environment.
• Certified Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer preferred; minimum 2 years experience in a five‑star hotel.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Physically fit, able to demonstrate exercises and maintain personal fitness.

Required skills

• Yoga instruction across multiple styles (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, etc.).
• Fitness training including HIIT, functional training, core and mobility work.
• Knowledge of anatomy, stretching, injury prevention and movement science.
• Current first aid and CPR certification.
