Cell Biologist / Cell Therapy Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cell Biologist / Cell Therapy Specialist to join our premium laboratory in Seychelles. The role involves working in a state‑of‑the‑art regenerative medicine facility, supporting the development and manufacturing of advanced cell‑based therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Culture, expansion, maintenance, and passaging of mammalian cells in 2D and 3D systems.
• Perform aseptic cell processing in ISO 5 and ISO 7 cleanrooms.
• Support mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) expansion and cell‑based product manufacturing.
• Conduct quality control using flow cytometry and ELISA assays.
• Execute cryopreservation, storage, and recovery of cellular materials.
• Maintain batch records, laboratory logs, and GMP documentation.
• Follow SOPs, quality management systems, and biosafety requirements.
• Participate in process optimisation, technology transfer, and equipment qualification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on laboratory experience in stem cell, cell therapy, biotechnology or regenerative medicine.
• Proven ability to work in sterile manufacturing environments and adhere to GMP/GLP standards.
