Compliance Officer – FinTech & Virtual Assets

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to support our client’s expansion in the virtual asset space. The role will focus on ensuring compliance with the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) regulations and international standards for AML, KYC and VASP operations.

Key responsibilities

• Report directly to the Group Head of Legal & Compliance.
• Monitor, assess and document compliance risks, producing written reports for senior management and regulators.
• Develop, design and update the company’s compliance procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance and other departments to enforce regulatory standards.
• Handle client complaints, ensuring proper documentation and follow‑up.
• Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies.
• Review licensee quarterly reports and provide feedback.
• Stay informed of regulatory changes and advise management accordingly.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of manuals and procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Finance, Economics or a related field (minimum Upper Second Class or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience in Capital Markets, FinTech or Virtual Assets.
• Fit & Proper approval as a Compliance Officer is an advantage.
• Fluent English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, disciplined work ethic and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Up‑to‑date knowledge of AML, KYC, MiFID and VASP regulatory frameworks.
