Facility Lead – Electrical

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Facility Lead, Electrical to oversee electrical systems for a unique U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures all electrical equipment remains safe, reliable, and compliant with government regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and repair of all electrical facilities, systems, and equipment as defined in the technical sub‑annex.
• Inspect, evaluate, and assess electrical condition to guarantee operational readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions to extend equipment life expectancy.
• Lead a team of electrical technicians, providing guidance, oversight, and troubleshooting support.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for continuous, reliable operation.
• Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate electrical maintenance into overall facility operations.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with contract standards and government regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs using a CMMS.
• Respond to electrical emergencies promptly to minimize operational disruptions.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license (or equivalent certification).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training are a plus.
