Medium Voltage Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Medium Voltage Supervisor to lead electrical teams on a critical U.S. Navy program located on Diego Garcia. The role involves overseeing medium‑voltage system installation, testing, maintenance and repair while ensuring the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage teams responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, repairing and inspecting medium‑voltage electrical systems and equipment.
• Oversee large‑scale medium‑voltage projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines and budgetary goals.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and performance feedback to electricians and foremen.
• Review blueprints, wiring diagrams and technical specifications to verify correct execution.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, electrical codes and organizational best practices.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct safety briefings, on‑site inspections and audits.
• Prepare and maintain reports, records and documentation for maintenance, testing, inspections and team performance.
• Investigate and resolve technical or operational issues, recommending corrective actions.

Required profile

• Successful completion of a three‑year apprenticeship in the electrician trade or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Medium Voltage Foreman.
• Proven ability to supervise medium‑voltage teams and manage projects.
• Strong knowledge of medium‑voltage electrical systems, installation, testing, maintenance and repair.
