Sustainability Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Sustainability Engineer to lead and manage sustainability and energy transition projects, driving carbon accounting, net‑zero roadmaps and renewable energy initiatives. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams and delivering high‑quality outcomes for clients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage sustainability and energy transition projects, including carbon accounting, target setting, net‑zero roadmaps, carbon credits, Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), carbon policies and project development.
• Coordinate resources, schedules, subcontractors, budgets and risks to ensure timely, high‑quality project delivery.
• Prepare and contribute to proposals, bids and technical submissions for new sustainability projects.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, sharing knowledge, insights and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience delivering sustainability, decarbonisation or carbon development projects.

Required skills

• Carbon accounting methodologies and the GHG Protocol.
• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Science‑Based Targets (SBT) setting.
• Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) processes and supply chains.
• Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and carbon credit project development.
• ESG reporting frameworks and standards.
