Functional Support Specialist

About the role

FreeBalance is looking for a Functional Support Specialist to deliver high‑quality, timely assistance to government clients during and after the deployment of our public‑sector ERP solutions. The role combines first‑line support, functional analysis, and training to ensure customers maximise the value of the software.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate responses to client inquiries and incidents.
• Analyse business requirements and configure FreeBalance software to meet payroll, HR and financial needs.
• Act as the primary contact during implementation and post‑go‑live support.
• Develop and deliver functional training sessions for end‑users.
• Contribute to proposals and relay client feedback to Sales, Product Management and Development.
• Create or modify custom forms, reports and queries.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of payroll experience and strong knowledge of HR and public‑sector financial processes.
• At least 3 years of experience with ERP software implementation.
• Experience with large‑scale IT system roll‑outs and business process re‑engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Seychelles nationality and residence.
