HR Manager – Strategic Workforce Partner

About the role

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering and professional services, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to act as a strategic partner for program managers and senior leaders. The role focuses on workforce development, employee engagement, and fostering a diverse, inclusive culture across fast‑paced projects.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with program managers and leadership to promote a diverse, inclusive, and productive workplace.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and company values.
• Provide guidance on workforce challenges, staffing needs, and organizational improvements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on HR policies, employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with recruiters and operations to assess staffing needs and improve recruitment processes.
• Support program start‑up activities and workforce transitions to ensure operational readiness.
• Monitor compliance with local, national, and international labor laws and contractual requirements.
• Facilitate performance management, training initiatives, and multi‑location workforce solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including generalist duties and strategic leadership.
• Proven ability to collaborate with recruitment, operations, and management teams.
• Strong expertise in employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
