Analyst Programmer – Software Development

About the role

The Financial Services Authority is seeking an Analyst Programmer to join its Information Systems Development Section. You will work closely with the Director to design, develop, and maintain software applications that support the Authority's operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior staff to conceptualise and design new software programmes.
• Develop, modify and maintain assigned applications, ensuring code quality and documentation.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve logical or coding errors in existing systems.
• Monitor application performance and respond promptly to operational issues.
• Analyse user requirements, produce design specifications, and deliver implementation, installation and training for new or acquired software.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
• Ability to work under direction of senior staff and contribute to complex programming tasks.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail in diagnosing software problems.
