Carpenter/Mason Worker

About the role

Constance Lemuria is looking for a skilled Carpenter/Mason Worker to join its maintenance and construction team on Praslin Island, Seychelles. You will contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of the resort’s world‑class facilities, working in a tropical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks such as framing, finishing and custom woodworking.
• Execute masonry work including bricklaying, stonework and concrete installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate execution.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently while adhering to building codes and safety regulations.
• Adapt construction techniques to the local tropical climate and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to meet project timelines and specifications.
• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on existing structures and estimate material quantities and costs as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of combined carpentry and masonry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physical stamina for demanding tasks.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication within a team.

Required skills
