Cluster Director of Finance

About the role

The Cluster Director of Finance provides strategic financial leadership for Avani Barbarons Seychelles and Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas, ensuring strong governance, accurate reporting and commercial insight across both luxury properties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall financial leadership and strategic direction for both Avani Barbarons Seychelles and Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and business planning process, ensuring realistic assumptions and commercial opportunities.
• Prepare and present accurate monthly financial reports, P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flow analyses, with clear commentary on variances.
• Maintain robust internal controls, ensure compliance with Seychelles legislation, oversee internal and external audits and mitigate financial risks.
• Manage cash flow and working capital, monitor daily cash balances, receivables and supplier payments.
• Partner with Revenue Management and Commercial teams to analyse pricing, occupancy and promotional performance and drive total resort profitability.
• Control costs across food & beverage, payroll, utilities and procurement, identifying efficiencies and protecting service quality.
• Oversee capital expenditure projects, evaluate financial justification and maintain fixed‑asset registers.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with extensive experience in luxury resort or hospitality environments.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership and to translate financial data into commercial insight.
• Strong knowledge of Seychelles statutory requirements, internal control frameworks and audit processes.
