Engineering Manager

About the role

Four Seasons is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering operations at its exclusive resort on Desroches Island. The role ensures the reliability of all mechanical, electrical and building systems, supports capital projects, and drives energy‑conservation initiatives while maintaining the high‑standard guest experience expected of the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Director of Engineering (ADOE) in implementing maintenance procedures and preventive‑maintenance schedules for all resort equipment.
• Develop and manage capital‑improvement budgets, oversee renovations, equipment replacements and new installations.
• Monitor energy consumption, lead the Energy Conservation Committee and ensure compliance with Four Seasons CSR policies and local regulations.
• Execute a cost‑effective preventive‑maintenance program, maintain accurate records, and conduct regular inspections of the building envelope and plant rooms.
• Supervise on‑site operations, third‑party contractors and vendors to guarantee quality, safety and timely project completion.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing engineering teams in a hospitality or resort environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate internal staff and external service providers.
• Excellent organizational and budgeting abilities for capital projects.
• Commitment to sustainability and energy‑efficiency practices.
